An assault charge against a Rochester woman may be upgraded after the victim died on Tuesday.
Police say 36-year-old Timothy Williams of Rochester died April 27 at Rochester General Hospital, where he’d been in critical condition since being stabbed on April 18.
28-year-old Shadarea Flemings was arrested and charged with assault in the first degree for the crime. The two were in a relationship and she allegedly stabbed him during an argument. The death has been ruled a homicide, the 24th of the year.
