A Monroe County Court Jury has found 28-year-old Brian Pressley of Rochester guilty of criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest … after police literally caught him in the act of firing gunshots at the corner of Jefferson and Frost Avenues.

Police heard the shots from around the corner on March 30th of last year and within seconds saw the gunman dressed in black, wearing a mask and with the gun still in his hand. He ran, fell in the mud, but got up and fled.

Minutes later, police spotted Pressley minus the mask, but still with the tell-tale mud stains where he’d fallen. They found the gun wrapped in the mask and stuffed into a bush.

Prosecutors say Pressley fired six shots in broad daylight at a busy intersection with no regard for the safety of others.
