Gates Police have cleared up a couple of local bank robberies with the arrest of a 52-year-old Rochester man.
Randall Tickner is being held on $10,000 bail on charges of robbery and grand larceny. Police caught up with him after the Citizens Bank at 2041 Chili Avenue was held up on Saturday afternoon.
The suspect was a white male, walking with a limp and wearing a “Monopoly Money” t-shirt.
Gates and Rochester Police, Monroe County Deputies and the FBI discovered the same man had held up an M&T Bank in Rochester earlier this month.
Police checking the area found the suspect had been staying at a hotel near the airport before the robbery. They caught up with him at a different hotel on Ridge Road in Parma, where they also recovered money and drugs.
