Ogden Police say a 61-year-old Rochester man has been charged with reckless endangerment, leaving the scene, driving without a license and other violations after a hit-and-run accident on Washington Street.
They say Samuel Thompson was westbound on the 531 expressway when he rear-ended another car. Thompson allegedly fled the scene and hit a second car after exiting onto Washington Street. Witnesses called 911 and police spotted Thompson on South Union Street in Spencerport and pulled him over.
Thompson is being held in the Monroe County Jail on $1500 bail.
