Gates Police say a parole violator arrested Saturday in a parking lot off Spencerport Road had held up three banks. They’ve charged 32-year-old Terrance Blackman of Rochester with three counts of third degree robbery and grand larceny. He’s being held without bail because of prior offenses.
Blackman allegedly held up the Key Bank Branch on Spencerport Road June 5th, hiding the money in a nearby dumpster when police approached. Earlier that same day, he allegedly held up the M&T Bank on Lyell Avenue in Rochester, and two days earlier the same thing happened at the Key Bank branch on Mt. Hope Aveue.
Blackman has been charged with all three crimes. He was on parole for a bank robbery conviction at the time.
