Federal prosecutors say a 20-year-old Rochester man has pleaded guilty to charges of drug possession and carrying a gun in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
Lazaro Aguilar is facing at least five years in prison.
Aguilar was arrested 11 months ago after Rochester police officers patrolling Lyell Avenue saw the defendant in a vehicle with excessively tinted windows. After being pulled over, they found Aguilar had no driver’s license and was carrying both heroin and fentanyl and the loaded handgun in his pockets.
