A 46-year-old Rochester man is in jail for criminal contempt after deputies found him following a Farmington woman’s car in violation of an order of protection, and slashing her tires.
Thomas Bell of Durnan Street in Rochester is being held without bail after being arraigned in Farmington Court. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says Bell followed the woman to her residence and was arrested trying to leave the property. Deputies say he’s also being charged with criminal mischief for slashing two tires on the woman’s car, and with weapons possession for having three knives and two cans of pepper spray.
Deputies also charged Bell with aggravated unlicensed operation for driving a car although his license has been suspended seven times.
