A Rochester man has been charged with vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving after his car went off the road and into a utility pole early Sunday morning. It then crashed into a car parked in a driveway.
26-year-old Torzell McCloud of Rochester was driving. His passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
McCloud was treated at the hospital, then turned over to Gates Police. They’re withholding the driver’s name as they seek to notify family members.
