A Rochester man has been acquitted of all charges after being put on trial for first degree arson.
Ronnie Boswell was charged with taking part in the firebombing of a home on Glendale Park in Rochester six years ago. Boswell and three other people were charged with throwing Molotov cocktails into the house while people were at home. Another co-defendant was indicted separately for setting fire to a jeep about a year later.
All four of those co-defendants made plea deals with the District Attorney’s Office to testify against Boswell, but he was acquitted in a Monroe County Court bench trial.
Boswell’s attorney says their testimony just wasn’t believable.
