Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren’s office says the city is launching a program to help businesses recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
A spokesman says JumpStartingROC.com will be a new city website dedicated to helping small business. It will offer outdoor dining permits for restaurants in Phase 2 of the reopening plan. It will also consider road closures or other special accommodations to make outdoor seating happen.
The mayor said in a statement that the city is ready to assist local restaurants process their outdoor dining applications quickly to help city neighborhoods recover from COVID-19.
