Two people were shot and killed in Rochester on Monday, marking the 13th and 14th murders of 2021 in the Flower City.

The first shooting was in the early afternoon at Clinton Avenue and Kappel Place. Rochester and State Police arrived to find a man shot in his upper body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead soon after.

The second victim was a 16-year-old boy. Jordan Coleman was found at Arbutus Street and Clifford Avenue shortly after police came to investigate a report of gunfire. Coleman was pronounced dead at the scene.

In both cases, police are asking anyone with information to call 911 or Crime Stoppers.
