The 10-day run of the Rochester Fringe Festival begins September 15th, with more than 500 performances and events in more than two dozen locations around downtown Rochester.
More than 63,000 people attended last year.
Producer Erica Fee says the National Endowment for the Arts is supporting the organization as well as local corporate and charitable sponsors. The festival lineup includes music, theater, performing arts, graphic arts and more. Tickets are now on sale.
Visit Rochester CEO Don Jeffries says this is another way that Rochester shows it’s a leader in arts and culture, and it brings people from all over the country.
Mayor Lovely Warren says this fifth annual festival is proudly supported by the city, and she will once again appear as a performer.
