Rochester real estate developer Robert Morgan pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to charges of wire fraud conspiracy.
Federal prosecutors say Morgan was manager of Morgan Heights LLC, majority owner of the Ellison Heights Apartments, when he obtained a load from ESL Federal Credit Union using information he and his co-conspirators altered to get more favorable terms. They say Morgan knew the information was inaccurate but submitted it anyway, getting a bigger loan than the actual figures supported.
Morgan will be sentenced in July an is not expected to see jail time.
