GateHouse Media is buying Rochester’s weekly business newspaper. The Rochester Business Journal is changing hands for an undisclosed amount, according to a post on the RBJ website.
GateHouse publishes the Canandaigua Messenger and a number of suburban weeklies including the Greece Post. The deal closes September 30th.
RBJ President and Publisher Susan Holliday says in the web story that she won’t be staying with the company. She says she’s looking forward to her next chapter.
