A Rochester Institute of Technology senior is apparently no longer on campus after he was accused in his New Hampshire home town of child sexual abuse.
A judge in Londonderry, New Hampshire gave his permission for 21-year-old Joshua Pouliot to return to RIT until his trial date, but issued an order of protection requiring him to stay away from people under the age of 18.
The school says it can’t speak about the specific case for reasons of student privacy, but says it can issue a suspension for public safety reasons. It declined to say if Pouliot has been suspended, but 13 WHAM says it talked to a source who says he’s no longer on the Henrietta campus.
Pouliot was accused of allegedly raping a young boy over a two year period. The child, who was nine when the abuse started, is now 13, and came forward to tell police what happened.
