Rochester leads, 1-0, in the Capelli Sport Hero Cup; will play without Joe Farrell and Kenardo Forbes.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Rhinos will finish their three-match road trip in Pennsylvania at 7 pm Tuesday, Aug. 8 at FNB as they take on the Harrisburg City Islanders. The USL contest also marks the second leg of the inaugural Capelli Sport Hero Cup.

Rochester took the first leg 1-0 at Capelli Sport Stadium on July 8 thanks to Jochen Graf’s 85th-minute goal. Each team will wear specially-designed Capelli Sport camouflage jerseys that will be auctioned off until Aug. 15. Proceeds will benefit the Rochester-area Badge of Honor Association and Veterans Outreach Center as well as the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Rhinos will look to pick themselves back up after seeing their six-match unbeaten streak come to an end on Saturday, as they dropped a 2-1 contest to New York Red Bulls 2. They will have to do so without starting center back Joe Farrell and captain Kenardo Forbes after both were given red cards in Saturday’s defeat.

Rochester is 2-3-5 away from home in 2017.

The Rhinos haven’t lost to Harrisburg since Week 6 of the 2013 USL season, going 5-0-3 in that span, including a US Open Cup triumph.

Harrisburg currently resides in 11th in the Eastern Conference (6-10-6; 24 points), and can temporarily sneak into the 8th and final playoff spot with a win. To do so, they’ll have to at the very least score their first goal in over 315 minutes of match action.

With a win, the Rhinos (8-4-8; 32 points) can be level on points with fourth-placed Louisville City FC and move within four points of first-placed Charlotte.
