The Rochester Rhinos, on their first trip ever to Cincinnati on Wednesday night, came away with a 1-1 tie before 14,157 fans.

Steevan dos Santos scored the tying goal in the 42nd minute after the hosts had taken the lead in the 28th minute.

Rhinos goalie Tomas Gomez made one save as Cincinnati keeper Mitch Hildebrandt recorded 2 saves.

Rochester (10-5-10) moved into fifth place with 40 points in the USL standings, tied with Richmond, but the Kickers have 1 game in hand. Charlotte (39 points) and Charleston (38 points) each have 2 games in hand on the Rhinos.

Rochester’s next game is Saturday night in Wilmington, N.C. against the Hammerheads.
