The Rochester Rhinos remain in Capelli Sport Stadium…the City of Rochester having apparently let an eviction deadline pass.
Today was the second date set by the city for the Rhinos’ management to be out of the stadium. The city now says in a statment that it’s actively in negotiations with team owners Dave and Wendy Dworkin and the city is satisfied with how those talks are going. City Corporation Counsel Tim Curtin says in that statement that the city doesn’t see a need to enforce the deadline at this time.
The original deadline was February 28th…but the city pushed the deadline back until today.
