Rochester looks to get back on the winning track.

ROCHESTSER, N.Y. –  The Rochester Rhinos host their second match of the week at Rochester Rhinos Stadium tomorrow evening. The defending champions host the tenth place Wilmington Hammerheads FC with a 6:05 kickoff scheduled.

The Hammerheads are currently battling for a playoff spot, with 24 points on the season so far. With the top eight making the post season, they are well within reach of the eighth place Orlando City B, which has 28 points.

The Rhinos have been struggling lately falling from a secure fifth place and battling for a top four spot, to dropping to seventh place after not securing a win since their July 16 match against FC Montreal at home.

The match will be broadcast live on the USL Match Center.

Wilmington has not won a match since July 9 against the Charlotte Independence. In their last four matches they are 0-3-1, only scoring four goals during that time. The Rhinos have only scored three goals in their last four matches, and have been struggling with finishing on the field despite maintaining the strong play that they are known for.

The Rhinos will be looking to forwards Christian Volesky, Steevan Dos Santos, and Kenardo Forbes to step up their game play and finish the season strong. With only nine games left this season, securing three points every time is crucial for the Rhinos heading into the playoffs.

This is the first time that Wilmington will face the Rhinos in the 2016 USL season. Last year the teams saw a 1-1 draw, and a 2-1 win by Rochester. Returning Rhinos goal scorers in those matches are Kenardo Forbes and Steevan Dos Santos.

Leading goal scorers: ROC– Volesky (6), Farrell (5), Dos Santos (4), Forbes (3).
