Monroe County Republicans have endorsed Sheriff Patrick O’Flynn for re-election. That sets up a race against former Greece Police Chief Todd Baxter, who has declared for the Democratic nomination.
Democrats hold their designating convention on Thursday.
Monroe County GOP Chairman Bill Reilich says this election will be about experience and that O’Flynn has done an outstanding job with the sheriff’s department.
