The Buffalo Bills pick ninth overall at the 2019 NFL Draft. Doing some math, the Bills will reportedly be meeting with Florida State defensive end Brian Burns pre-draft then.

The Draft Network reported that Burns will have pre-draft “visits/meetings scheduled with every single team drafting in the top-10 except that New York Jets,” thus far.

A little more math? Sure. Based on Burns meeting with nearly every team in the top-10, he’s slated to be an early selection at April’s draft. Buffalo could certainly target him early and place him in their pass-rushing rotation along the defensive line.

The Bills were the 26th best team in the NFL last season in terms of sacks (36).

At the combine, Burns checked in at 6-foot-5 and 249 pounds and posted a 4.53 40-yard dash time. He also posted 36 inches on the vertical jump, 129 inches on the broad jump and a 7.01 three-cone drill. Burns’ pass-rushing prowess comes via his athleticism and speed around the edge.

Burns saved his best for his last season at Florida State. His junior season saw him make 52 tackles, 15.5 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks and 3 forced fumbles.

In total, Burns recorded 123 tackles, 38.5 tackles for a loss, 23 sacks and 7 forced fumbles in 33 games.
