Congresswoman Louise Slaughter used a meeting in Washington today to make a direct pitch to officials from Amazon.com…..asking them to bring their new second national headquarters to Rochester.
The meeting was at Google’s Washington headquarters…and Slaughter was briefing CEOs about Rochester’s two public-private manufacturing institutes, AIM Photonics and the REMADE Institute.
Slaughter spotted Amazon officials in the audience and said “Rochester would really love to have your warehouse…we can do it right for you.”
