In Rochester and in towns around Monroe County, officials and first responders paused this morning to remember the attacks on New York City, the Pentagon and western Pennyslvania 16 years ago.
Nine-11 was remembered at town halls and at memorials around the Rochester area. It was also commemorated on college campuses, including RIT where taps was played at the time of each key event of that morning.
The photo shows County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and other officials at the memorial outside Irondequoit Town Hall this morning.
