MOOSIC, PA. — Saturday night’s Rochester Red Wings game at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre has been postponed due to rain.
The teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday, July 7 starting at 10:35 am.
This is the ninth postponement (5 on the road, 4 at home) for the Red Wings this season to go along with 2 suspended games and 7 pre-game or in-game delays.
The International League’s All-Star break will take place Monday-Wednesday with the game and festivities in El Paso, TX. Rochester will be represented by outfielder Brent Rooker, catcher Tomás Telis, and pitching coach Stu Cliburn.
Following Sunday, the Red Wings resume games on Thursday, July 11 with a doubleheader against Lehigh Valley at Frontier Field beginning at 5:35 pm.
