Rochester erases a 4-0 deficit to defeat Lehigh Valley, 6-4.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Red Wings erased a 4-0 deficit to earn a Saturday sweep of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at Frontier Field.
The Wings took the opener in walk-off fashion, 4-3, before rallying for 6-4 win in the nightcap.
Down 4-0 in the second inning, Jecksson Flores trimmed the lead in half with a two-run double.
An inning later, RBI hits from Jake Noll, Donovan Casey, and Ali Castillo pushed the Wings in front 6-4.
The bullpen combo of Alberto Baldonado (2.1 IP), Diego Moreno (1.2 IP) and Sam Clay (1.1 IP) combined to hold the IronPigs scoreless the rest of the way.
