Rochester Red Wings lost 5-1 to the Gwinnett Braves and the weather on Saturday night in Georgia.
Trailing 5-0, the Wings averted a shutout with a run in the sixth. Wilfredo Tovar doubled to lead off and eventually scored on a groundout.
Starting pitcher Omar Bencomo (1-1) took the loss for the Wings, who were held to 6 hits by 6 different players.
Rochester (70-58) failed to gain ground on Lehigh Valley (76-52), which fell to Syracuse on Saturday, in the chase for the International League Wild Card spot.
The Wings continue their 8-game road trip on Sunday in Gwinnett.
