Red Wings to Introduce Allergy Aware Section
The Rochester Red Wings are proud to unveil a new allergy aware section at Frontier Field as part of the third annual Allergy Awareness Day on Sunday, July 31.
Section 217, which is currently a family/no alcohol section, will become the Alcohol Free & Allergy Aware Family Section. Fans are now asked to refrain from consuming alcohol as well as peanuts and tree nuts in this section. The addition of the allergy aware to this section will help accommodate guests with food allergies to peanuts and tree nuts, thus improving the overall game experience for those fans.
Dr. Shahzad Mustafa and Dr. Theresa Bingemann of Rochester Regional Health will be on hand for the unveil. A video featuring Dr. Bingemann and some patients discussing their allergies will run prior to the game.
