ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Red Wings internship program is a great learning experience that is available to college sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Red Wings’ interns will have the opportunity to get directly involved, and gain hands on experience and training, in various aspects of Minor League Baseball including marketing, sales, ticket operations, customer service, public relations, graphic design, and many other aspects of the sports industry. The interns train directly with the front office staff to get an overview of all of the different positions. The internship requires a great amount of dedication throughout the baseball season.

This experience must be for college credit and all interns must be enrolled in school. The internship is an unpaid position, though the Red Wings will provide each intern with a credit reimbursement of up to $750 or $400 (based on approved paperwork, through your school). During certain times of the program, the interns will be asked to complete “labor related tasks” to support the team, in these instances, interns (if agreeable) will receive minimum wage ($10.40) during that time.
