Applications are being accepted now for the 2017 season

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Red Wings internship program is a great learning experience. Available to college Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors, Red Wings interns will have the opportunity to get directly involved and gain hands on experience and training in various aspects of Minor League Baseball including marketing, sales, ticket operations, customer service, public relations, graphic design and many other aspects of the sports industry. The interns train directly with the front office staff to get an overview of all of the different positions. The internship requires a great amount of dedication throughout the baseball season.

We are looking for dedicated, resilient and driven people who would not only perform well in these capacities but who are passionate about baseball. This experience must be for college credit and all interns must be enrolled in school. The internship is an unpaid position, though the Red Wings will provide each intern with a credit reimbursement of up to $750 or $400 (based on approved paperwork, through your school). During certain times of the program, the interns will be asked to complete “labor related tasks” to support the team, in these instances, interns (if agreeable) will receive minimum wage ($8.75) during that time.

The Red Wings have internships starting in January and May. All of our interns learn through the end of the season (late August or early September) or until they return to college. This internship is a great start for people interested in pursuing a career in sports or the entertainment industry. Individuals may serve as an intern for one cycle, only. Repeat applicants are not accepted. Below are the requirements and responsibilities of each position.
