ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Lehigh Valley IronPigs cruised past the Rochester Red Wings, 10-2, Friday night at Frontier Field.

After a nine-game win streak for the Wings (25-15), the ‘Pigs have come to town and taken three of the first four games of the series.

Lehigh Valley shortstop Nick Maton was the story Friday going 4-for-4 with a home run, three doubles, four RBI and three runs scored.

Sterling Sharp suffered the loss allowing six runs over four innings.

Lucius Fox provided the only offense for the Red Wings hitting a two-run homer in the second inning that tied the game at 2-2. Fox notched three of Rochester’s eight hits.

The IronPigs would plate four in the fourth inning to take control of the game.

Game Five of the six-game set is Saturday night at Frontier Field. First pitch is set for 7:05 pm.
