No financial details were released, but Monroe County and Rochester Community Baseball have come to a deal on a long-term lease for Frontier Field.

Rochester Red Wings CEO Naomi Silver and County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced the agreement after two final days of wall-to-wall talks. It’s a ten year lease with an option to renew for another ten.

Silver says she’ll do her best to hold the line on next year’s ticket prices.

The 20-year-deal that’s just ending between the county and the Wings amounted to about $1 million a month for rent, most of it coming from parking revenues, plus ticket and concession surcharges. Silver and Dinolfo say details of this new agreement will be released in the coming weeks.
