ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Rochester Red Wings have announced the opening week itinerary including information on Media Day. Please see the schedule below.
· Sunday, March 31 – The team is scheduled to arrive at Greater Rochester International Airport from Baltimore–Washington International at 12:20 p.m. on Southwest Flight #1946.
· Tuesday, April 2 – Media Day begins at 11 a.m. The Red Wings will work out after media requests have been fulfilled (weather permitting). The 91st Welcome Home Dinner is at 7 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.
· Wednesday, April 3 – Team departs for Lehigh Valley in the afternoon.
· Thursday, April 4 – Opening Day at Lehigh Valley. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
· Thursday, April 11 – Opening Day at Frontier Field. Rochester hosts the IronPigs at 6:05 pm. A detailed rundown of the day’s festivities will be unveiled later this week.
Tickets for Opening Day and the other 69 home games are on sale now at RedWingsBaseball.com. The Home Opener features a 51-degree guarantee. If the temperature on the Frontier Field thermometer isn’t 51 at some point during the game, each ticket can be exchanged for any Red Wings home game in April or May.
