The Greater Rochester Association of Realtors says home sales are on the increase for a second quarter in the Rochester area.
Sales for Q2 were up by more than nine-and-a-half percent with 2.377 sold, up from 1,980 homes sold for the same period last year. The median sale price was down about one percent at $133,450.
Mortgage rates stayed stable at low levels. The number of homes for sale dropped by nearly 20 percent, and the GRAR says that means it’s a seller’s market.
