The Rochester City School District says a teacher at School Without Walls has been placed on administrative leave after the district learned of a lawsuit accusing him of sexual abuse.
Teacher Walter Jahnke and the school district are being sued over the alleged abuse of a student who was underage when the incident occurred in the 1990s.
The district says it’s working with the Bivona Child Advocacy Center to provide help for any families or students who request it.
