Rochester City School District has released a district-wide safety plan for dealing with any crisis that might arise.
The plan designates “incident commanders” for each building to implement that building’s emergency response plan. The district has the plan up on its web site https://www.rcsdk12.org/safetyplan.
A Public Hearing on the District-Wide Safety Plan will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. via Zoom Videoconferencing. All materials related to this meeting will be accessible on the day of the meeting via the District’s BoardDocs page http://www.rcsdk12.org/boarddocs. All Board of Education Meetings will be available via the RCSD’s Facebook and YouTube pages, and on the District’s website at www.rcsdk12.org/rcsdtv.
Anyone wishing to sign-up to speak via Zoom must send an email to Boardofeducation@rcsdk12.org by noon on the day of the meeting and state that they would like to speak.
