Rochester notches its second consecutive win with its new lineup.
That new Razorsharks’ experiment?
Two-for-two.
Rochester, only days removed from massive roster overhaul, moved to 4-8 overall and 2-0 since its facelift of the Razorsharks’ lineup with a 109-105 win Friday night over the visiting Vancouver Knights in North American Premier Basketball (NAPB) action at the Blue Cross Arena.
The Razorsharks, which swept the 2-game set over the Knights, were led by Devon Alexander (23 points), Wayne McCoullough (20 points), Jerice Crouch (12 points) and Gregoryshon Magee (12 points).
“We knew Vancouver would come back and counterpunch tonight,” interim Rochester head coach Clay Pittinaro said referring to the Razorsharks’ 136-109 winner the previous evening. “I’m really happy with how we stuck to the system and were able to integrate some new pieces to our family at the same time. All wins are good wins and we will take this one looking forward to Wednesday against Albany.”
Vancouver (4-9) was spearheaded by Leroy Fludd (21 points), DaQuan Brooks (20 points) and Chancellor Jones (17 points).
