Rochester is involved in a three-team trade in the NAPB.

The NAPB announced a trade involving three teams Tuesday, between the Rochester RazorSharks, Vancouver Knights, and the Kentucky Thoroughbreds, all looking to improve their run toward the playoffs.

Three RazorSharks were traded to Vancouver, including 6-foot-1 guard John Ivy, 6-9 forward Zach Reynolds, and 5-10 guard DaQuan Brooks. Rochester received Vancouver’s 6-0 point guard Vance Cooksey and Kentucky 6-7 forward A.J. Steward, while the Knights sent 6-9 forward Darius Paul to Kentucky to complete the three-way transaction.

Rochester also signed 6-5 forward Tyron Jackson, who was recently released from the NBA G-league. The RazorSharks also adjusted their roster by releasing 6-3 guard Melvin Council, and 6-7 forward Phil Valenti.

Both released players are now free to sign with any other team in the NAPB.

“With a 2-8 record , we had to make changes and I believe each team in this trade upgraded their respective rosters,” said General Manager and Co-Owner of the RazorSharks Lawrence Maroney.

The RazorSharks have back-to-back games Thursday, Feb. 8 and Friday, Feb. 9 against the Vancouver Knights at the Blue Cross Arena. Game times are set for 7:05 pm.
