Rochester is the No. 1 seed and will face No. 4 Jamestown Jackals on Sunday.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — It’s that time of the year again; the Premier Basketball Playoffs are here, and the Rochester RazorSharks are once again in the driver’s seat. The Sharks are striving to win their fourth consecutive title.
The Sharks sit in first place with a record of 16-2 heading into a semifinal matchup with the fourth-place Jamestown Jackals. The playoff format for 2017 includes a one-game semifinal round where first place faces fourth place, and second place faces third place. The winner of each one game playoff advances to the PBL Championship Finals, which the RazorSharks have won in each of the past three years.
The final round consists of a best-of-three series. The team with the better regular season record will have home court advantage in the final championship series. The first game will be scheduled to take place at the lower seed’s arena, with remaining two games, if necessary, to be held at the higher seed’s arena.

Scheduling for the finals will be announced following the conclusion of the two semifinal games.

The Kentucky Mavericks will play host to the Ohio Bootleggers that day in their semifinal matchup. The Rochester game will be on the RazorSharks Video YouTube channel, while the Kentucky game will be available for viewing on their channel. Each will be posted on our social media pages that day when the feeds go live.
Sunday is sure to be a fun one with the Seneca Park Zoo Mobile in attendance for fans to interact with some of their coolest animals. The Rochester Wheels wheelchair basketball team also will be playing at halftime.
