It was fun – and impressive – while it lasted, but the winning streak has ended for Kansas City.

Wednesday night in Rochester, the Tornados saw their 7-game run come to an end in a 129-118 defeat against the host Razorsharks (7-15).

The victorious Rochester squad was led by Erick Williams (34 points, 8 rebounds), Jerice Crouch (27 points), Treyvon Jackson (22 points), and Terrence Roberts (13 points, 18 rebounds).

Kansas City (8-8) was sparked by Kevin Young (31 points, 23 rebounds), Charlton Jones (25 points, 8 rebounds), and Franklin Williams (17 points).

“We lost a tough one,” KC head coach Calvin Thompson said. “Rochester shot the lights out and every open shot they knocked it down. We made some untimely turnovers once we would make runs and we did not do a good job of rebounding the ball.

“Kevin had an incredible game for us, but we didn’t have enough help for him on the boards.”
