Rochester wins its 13th game with an easy victory over the Hurricane.

FREDONIA, N.Y. — The Rochester RazorSharks completed the 4-game season sweep over the Chatauqua Hurricane with a 116-78 victory on Saturday night at SUNY Fredonia in Premier Basketball League action.

The Hurricane’s 78 points was their season high against Rochester, as they put up 77, 75, and 72 points in their previous meetings.

The first quarter was a very good one for the Sharks, but they found their groove in the second and pulled away for a 65-42 advantage by intermission. They extended the margin to 36 points late in the fourth quarter.

The John Betlem Heating and Cooling Player of the Game went Deverell Biggs, who scored 15 points and added 6 assists. He also pulled down 5 rebounds and recorded 5 steals.

The leading scorer on the night for the Sharks was Corey Allmond with 19 points. Rashard McGill was the leading rebounder with 9, and Jordan Railey led with 4 blocked shots.

For the Hurricane, Geno Green had a game high 24 points, as Tyquan Brown contributed 18.

The RazorSharks (13-2) play again next Saturday, March 18 in Owensboro, KY., as they take on the rival Kentucky Mavericks (12-1). The Mavericks will be seeking to sweep the season series as they already own 2 wins over the Sharks.

Rochester concludes the regular season with road games in Washington D.C. against the Warhawks, then back at Fredonia versus Jamestown two days later.
