Rochester romps in a 46-point victory, 132-86, for their 10th win of the season.

DUBOIS, PA. — The Rochester RazorSharks took it to the Pensylvania Dream early and often, getting out to a 15-5 lead and going up by 20 at the first quarter’s end, 36-16, en route to a 132-86 Premier Basketball League victory on Friday night.

The Sharks improved to 10-1 on the campaign as the Dream (0-12) continue to struggle in the league.

Jerice Crouch caught fire immediately for Rochester, scoring 12 in the first quarter.

The second period was almost identical, with Pennsylvania scoring exactly 16 again, to Rochester’s 26 for a 62-32 halftime advantage. Crouch led the way with 14 points, Jordan Railey pulled down 7 rebounds, and Deverell Biggs recorded 4 steals.

The third quarter was a complete defensive breakdown for both sides as Rochester allowed Pennsylvania to double their score to 64, but the Dream yielded 39 points to the Sharks.

The final period was more of the same; Rochester outscored Pennsylvania for the fourth straight quarter, 31-22. Crouch was the John Betlem Heating and Cooling Player of the Game with a game-high 25 points. Railey pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds. John Ivy and Biggs recorded 4 steals each, leading both teams as well. Biggs also scored 19 points. Corey Allmond dished out 6 assists, as Melvin Council had a solid game with 16 points and 5 assists.

The RazorSharks’ next game is at home on Thursday, March 9, against the fourth place Jamestown Jackals. Tipoff will be 7 pm at the Blue Cross Arena.

Local boxing star Willie “El Mongoose” Monroe Jr., will be in the house signing autographs and speaking with fans before the game. Monroe is currently the 5th ranked middleweight boxer in the world, according to the World Boxing Association (WBA).
