Albany notches its 3rd win over Rochester this season.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Albany Patroons won their ninth straight game with a 120-114 triumph over Rochester RazorSharks on Wednesday night at the Blue Cross Arena. The Patroons were able to maintain a one-game lead over equally hot Yakima after overcoming a 37-29 first quarter deficit.
Albany (11-1) got 20-point efforts by Edwin Ubiles, Lloyd Johnson and EJ Gallup as Xavier Moon added 19 points and Jamario Moon contributed nine points and 11 rebounds.
Rochester (4-9) was led by four 15-point scorers in Jerice Crouch, Vance Cooksey, Matt Hart and Rashard McGill while Devon Alexander (13 points), Melvin Council (11 points), and Gregooyshon Magee (10 points and 13 rebounds) contributed to their performance.
The RazorSharks travel this weekend to Nevada for games Friday and Saturday against the Desert Dogs (2-6).
