Rochester seeks to gain .500 once again.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Rattlers (4-5) travel to Maryland to play the Chesapeake Bayhawks (3-5) on Sunday, July 2 at 7 pm. The Rattlers won the first meeting in Rochester, 17-16 in overtime. Jeremy Boltus paced the Rattlers with 5 goals and John Galloway recorded 17 saves.

The Bayhawks lost to the Ohio Machine, 15-13, Saturday in Ohio. Jake Froccaro (Villanova) scored three goals. Lyle Thompson returned to the lineup, after winning the NLL Championship with the Georgia Swarm, and contributed two goals and one assist in the loss. Goalie Nico Amato (Maryland) made 15 saves for the Bayhawks. Rookie Ben Williams (Syracuse) won 15-of-30 faceoffs.

Myles Jones (Duke) is the leading scorer for Chesapeake with 19 goals, two 2-pointers, and 10 assists (31 points).

After the game against the Bayhawks, the Rattlers will return to action at Capelli Sport Stadium on Sunday, July 16 for their second match with the Boston Cannons. Rochester won the first game in Boston, 13-10. Game time is set for 5 pm.
