Rochester travels to Columbus for their game Saturday against the Ohio Machine.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Rattlers (0-1) are back on the road this weekend against the Ohio Machine (2-0) in Columbus on Saturday, May 6.

Ohio beat the Charlotte Hounds last weekend, 15-12. This is the home opener for the Machine at their new lacrosse specific stadium, Fortress Obertz.

The Machine were led by Mark Cockerton (Virginia), who scored three goals and had four assists for Ohio. Marcus Holman (UNC) and Kevin Cunningham (Villanova) each scored three goals (Holman had one assist). Two other Machine players scored two goals in the game. Goalie Scotty Rodgers (Notre Dame) made 12 saves in cage for Ohio.

The Rattlers will have their home season opener at Capelli Sport Stadium against the Charlotte Hounds on Thursday, May 11 at 7:30 pm. The game will be broadcast on Lax Sports Network. Order tickets online or purchase them directly at the ticket booth the day of the game.

The Rattlers will travel to the Boston Cannons on Saturday, May 13 for 7 pm game.
