Rochester Rattlers Dhane Smith and Blaze Riorden helped the Buffalo Bandits team with two solid performances. The Bandits won, 13-8 over the Toronto Rock Friday night then lost Saturday to the Georgia Swarm, 17-16.

Smith scored three goals and added two assists Friday in the win against the Rock. He scored another three goals and had five helpers in the loss against the Swarm Saturday. Riorden scored one goal and had four assists on Friday night, while assisting on one goal in the loss Saturday.

Smith continues to lead Buffalo with 81 points for the season (30 goals and 51 assists).

For the Swarm, who already have clinched the East Division in the National Lacrosse League, Joel White picked up six loose balls. John Ranagan scored one goal, one assist, and picked up two loose balls. Jordan MacIntosh had one helper, picked up five loose balls and was 18 out of 33 on faceoffs.

The Swarm travel to Buffalo (6-10) to play the Bandits on Saturday, April 22. Game is set for 7:30 pm. The Bandits are in fourth place with New England and Toronto, both 8-8, holding the last 2 playoff berths in the East.

The Rochester Knighthawks are 5-10 and play New England on Saturday night at the Blue Cross Arena at 7:30 pm in a must-win situation for them.
