Jordan Wolf returns to the Rochester lineup and collects 9 points in the 16-15 win over the Outlaws.

DENVER, CO. — The Rochester Rattlers edged the Denver Outlaws, 16-15, for their third victory of the season on Saturday night at Mile High Stadium. It was the first loss of the season for the Outlaws as they dropped to 4-1 as the Rattlers improved to 3-3.

Jordan Wolf led the way with 9 points on 5 goals and 4 assists.

Jordan Wolf returned to action after missing the last three games and he returned in a big way – scoring five goals and had four assists on the night. He was named the Coca-Cola Player of the Game.

Jeremy Boltus scored four goals for the Rattlers, including two in the final two minutes of the game.

“Jordan Wolf played really smart today and Jeremy Boltus played great at the end,” said Rattlers coach Tim Soudan.

The Rattlers led 5-3 after one quarter of play before the Outlaws stormed back in the second quarter with five goals of their own. The Rattlers came back to net a pair of goals but the Outlaws held a 10-8 advantage at halftime.

Penfield native Kyle Denhoff had one 2-point goal and an assist as Ty Thompson scored two goals for Rochester. Connor Gately and T.J. Neubauer each had one goal for the Rattlers.

Goalie John Galloway made 14 saves on 29 shots on goal in gaining the victory.

Rochester returns home to Capelli Sport Stadium on Saturday, June 10 against the Chesapeake Bayhawks.
