The First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival broke a record last month, drawing 67,000 visitors to downtown Rochester and taking in more than $400,000 in ticket sales.
It’s also the last Fringe Festival by that name. From now on it’s the “KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival,” reflecting the First Niagara – KeyBank merger.
Festival officials announced the 2017 festival will be September 14th through the 23rd. They say they’re thrilled they were able to push the envelope artistically and on attendance despite rain on both weekends of this year’s Fringe.
