Brighton police are investigating after racist graffiti was found in a bathroom at Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women.
School officials say graffiti including the “N-Word” and a message reading “get out or else” was found on the wall. Police say they’re investigating it as a hate crime. The building had been open all weekend for sports and other activities. Police are reviewing security footage from the school.
Students were alerted to the situation Monday morning during classes.
