The truck driver who admitted he was distracted when he rear-ended a Rochester woman’s car and killed her will spend one-and-a-half to four years in prison.

Kristofer Greorek was speaking and shopping on his phone when his truck hit the rear of Ellen Volpe’s car. Volpe was driving from her home in Rochester to her job as an assistant professor of nursing at the University of Buffalo when she was killed.

Gregorek was sentenced today (Wed) in Buffalo.
