President Obama has pardoned or commuted the sentences of more than 230 people, among them a Rochester man sentenced to 17 years in prison for a drug-related offense.
Reuben Bullock was sentenced to prison ten years ago for possession with intent to distribute cocaine. His sentence will now end two years from now, based on his enrollment in a residential drug program.
This was the largest single-day use ever of presidential clemency. President-elect Trump has criticized Obama’s use of pardons.
